CDSCO has introduced an upgraded online workflow for the auto-generation of Market Standing Certificate (MSC) and Non-Conviction Certificate (NCC) for licensed medical devices. All applications submitted under the previous workflow will be automatically rejected, and stakeholders are required to resubmit fresh applications via the updated system from the date of this notice.
On April 9, 2025, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) issued a notice announcing a new automated online workflow for the issuance of Market Standing Certificate (MSC) and Non-Conviction Certificate (NCC) applicable to licensed medical devices.
The upgrade is aimed at promoting ease of doing business and enhancing regulatory efficiency. Under the new workflow, MSC and NCC certificates will be auto-generated through the Online System for Medical Devices.
Consequently, all applications submitted through the previous process will be automatically rejected by the system. Stakeholders must submit fresh applications using the revised workflow starting from the date of the notice.
The update reflects CDSCO’s ongoing efforts to streamline regulatory procedures and digitalize certificate processing, aligning with its commitment to improving transparency and reducing administrative delays.
