Ministry of Mines releases an order on the goods or articles of refined zinc which should be corresponds to the specified Indian standard IS 209: 2024. The goods or articles fall under this Indian standard shall bear the standard mark under the license obtained by BIS under scheme-1 of schedule-II of BIS (conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
Ministry of Mines releases an order on 17 April 2025 regarding the Refined Zinc.
This Order shall come into force with effect from six months from the date of publication of this notification.
Application- This Order applies to the goods or articles of refined zinc, but it does not apply to items intended for export.
Compulsory Use of Standard Mark: The goods or article mention in the below table should correspond to the specified Indian Standard and shall bear the standards mark under the license obtained by BIS under Scheme-1 of schedule-II of BIS (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
