This public notice is to inform everyone about the updates on how manufacturers of bulk psychotropic substances and preparations of psychotropic substances should submit their quarterly reports. After talking to stakeholders, new formats for these reports have been created. You can find these formats on the official website.

Following are the key points of the notice:

• No separate Quarterly Return is required for Research and Development; it should be included in the standard return.
• Traders/wholesalers registered with the Narcotics Commissioner must submit Quarterly Returns using the prescribed format.
• All companies registered with the Narcotics Commissioner must submit their returns in a signed and attested PDF along with an Excel sheet, via email to online.returns@cbn.nic.in, by the end of the month following the quarter. The formats are available on the CBN website.
