Uploading and Linking of Mandatory Lab Testing Reports

A notification was issued on 13 January 2023 by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India regarding the uploading or linking of mandatory lab testing reports on FoSCoS.

The notification notifies the following:

1. All manufacturers, including relabellers and repackers, should either upload six-month lab testing reports according to the conditions of license no. 12 or link such lab reports from the InFolNet.
2. The last date for uploading and linking the test reports for April 2022 to September 2022 is 31st March 2023.
3. FBO should ensure that uploading and linking lab test reports are done on FoSCoS within one month from the closing date of the respective half-yearly period. For example, by 31st October for the period of April to September and by 30th April for the period of October to March.
4. Follow the following steps to upload and link lab test reports:

a. Login to FoSCoS through the 'Login Businesses' tab on the FoSCoS Homepage b. Click on 'Upload Six Monthly Lab Testing Report' on Left Menu Panel and click on Proceed c. Select the period from the drop down for which the lab testing report is being uploaded or linked d. Select the appropriate product for uploading or linking of report. e. In the pop-up window, either 'Choose file' and upload the report or fetch it from INFLONET by clicking on 'Get Sample Report' and then entering the sample report number. You will receive an OTP for verification on your registered mobile number and mail id.
