The CDSCO has extended the deadline for mandatory submission of WHO GMP COPP applications via the ONDLS portal to 15th August 2025, allowing manufacturers more time to register and upload documents. Physical submissions will no longer be accepted post-deadline. Knowledge sessions are being organized to assist stakeholders with the online process.
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has issued a notification extending the deadline for mandatory online submission of WHO GMP Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product (COPP) applications through the ONDLS portal to 15th August 2025.
This decision follows feedback from manufacturers and industry associations citing difficulties in onboarding and document uploads. After the new deadline, physical applications will not be accepted for WHO GMP COPP or manufacturing license approvals.
To facilitate a smooth transition, CDSCO is conducting multiple knowledge sessions at zonal and sub-zonal levels. Stakeholders are encouraged to attend these sessions for better understanding of the digital process. For technical support, applicants may contact CDAC or CDSCO via the provided email addresses.
This extension aims to support industry compliance while ensuring a streamlined digital workflow.
