The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), through its Northern Regional Office, conducted an enforcement operation at the premises of a Food Business Operator (FBO) in South-West Delhi after receiving information about suspected fraudulent relabelling of food products. The inspection identified violations related to food storage and labelling practices. FSSAI initiated enforcement action to safeguard consumer health and ensure compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

- Inspection conducted based on intelligence regarding illegal relabelling activities.
- Detection of food products with altered manufacturing dates, expiry dates, batch numbers, and label information.
- Recovery of stamps, printing machines, and chemical solvents used for relabelling.

- Registration of an FIR against the Food Business Operator.
- Consumers were encouraged to report suspicious food products through the Food Safety Connect app and FoSCoS portal.
