COVID-19 vaccines approved in the country as on 22.04.2026

CDSCO updated the list of COVID-19 vaccines approved in India under full approval and restricted emergency use categories. Vaccines such as Covishield, Covaxin, Corbevax, and Covovax are approved for manufacture and distribution, while others like Sputnik V, Moderna, ZyCoV-D, and iNCOVACC are approved for primary vaccination. The approvals cover a wide age range from children (≥5 years), adolescents (12–18 years), to adults (≥18 years), ensuring broad population coverage. Booster doses are also authorized for adults after completion of primary vaccination.
