The amendment includes petrol, diesel, CNG, LPG, LNG, and hydrogen dispensers and prescribes verification fees for each nozzle under the updated regulatory framework.

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution has notified the Legal Metrology (Government Approved Test Centre) Amendment Rules, 2026 under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009.
