DGFT Extends Minimum Import Price Condition on Specific Chemical Products

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has extended the Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition applicable to specified chemical products under Chapter 29 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule-I (Import Policy). The MIP has been fixed at USD 111 per kg on CIF value and will remain applicable until 30 November 2026, with all other terms and conditions of the earlier notification remaining unchanged.


The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Department of Commerce, has extended the Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition imposed on specified items covered under Chapter 29 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule-I (Import Policy).


Key points include:

  1. The existing MIP condition imposed through Notification No. 30/2025-26 dated 18 September 2025 has been extended.
  2. The MIP is fixed at USD 111 per kg based on Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF) value.
  3. The requirement applies to specified chemical products covered under the relevant ITC (HS) codes.
  4. The covered products include AT-8 (IR-8-Cis)-1,1-Dimethyl-6-phenyl-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane-4-acetate.
  5. The applicable ITC (HS) codes include 29329990, 29339990, 29333990, 29341990, 29349990, 29420900, 29189990, 29159099, 29163990 and 29225090.
  6. The extended MIP condition remains applicable until 30 November 2026.
  7. All other terms and conditions of the earlier notification remain unchanged.
