NPPA Fixes Retail Prices for Two Pharmaceutical Formulations
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed the retail prices, exclusive of applicable GST, for two pharmaceutical formulations: Donepezil and Memantine Tablets and Rabeprazole Sodium and Domperidone Capsules. The notified prices are ₹12.31 per tablet and ₹7.47 per capsule, respectively. Manufacturers must comply with the specified prices and applicable requirements under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has issued an order fixing the retail prices of two specified pharmaceutical formulations under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.

- Fixes the retail price of Donepezil and Memantine Tablets containing Donepezil Hydrochloride 5 mg and Memantine Hydrochloride 10 mg at ₹12.31 per tablet, excluding GST.
- Fixes the retail price of Rabeprazole Sodium and Domperidone Capsules containing Rabeprazole Sodium IP 20 mg and Domperidone IP 30 mg at ₹7.47 per capsule, excluding GST.

- Manufacturers must comply with applicable statutory requirements, including manufacturing licence permissions.
- Manufacturers must issue the prescribed price list in Form V through IPDMS and provide copies to State Drug Controllers and dealers.
- Retailers and dealers must display the applicable price list prominently at their premises.
- Non-compliance may result in recovery of overcharged amounts with interest under the DPCO, 2013 and Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
