CBN Invites Online Applications for 2nd Additional Quota of Codeine Phosphate for 2026
The Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) has invited online applications for allocation of the 2nd additional quota of Codeine Phosphate for 2026. Applications must be submitted through the Unified CBN Portal between 21 September and 30 September 2026. Applicants are required to submit the prescribed application form, quarterly returns for completed quarters of 2026, and a Bharatkosh payment receipt of ₹50.
The Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) has issued Public Notice No. 07/2026 inviting online applications for allocation of the 2nd additional quota of Codeine Phosphate for the calendar year 2026.
Key points include:
- Applications must be submitted only through the Unified CBN Portal between 21 September and 30 September 2026.
- Applications submitted before 21 September or after 30 September 2026 will not be considered.
- Physical applications submitted through post, email or by hand will not be accepted.
- Applicants must upload a duly filled and signed application form for additional Codeine Phosphate quota.
- Self-authenticated Annexure-I and Annexure-II quarterly returns for completed quarters of 2026 must be submitted.
- The returns cover stock, consumption, manufacture and sale details of Codeine Phosphate and its formulations.
- A Bharatkosh payment receipt of ₹50 is mandatory.
- The application also requires details of allocated quota, quantities lifted, quantities consumed, closing balance and additional quantity required.
