CBN Migrates Narcotic Drug Import/Export Services to ICEGATE (SWIFT 2.0) Platform

Public Notice No. 09/2026 issued by the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) outlines the phased migration of CBN services to the ICEGATE (SWIFT 2.0) portal to streamline regulatory processes for narcotic drug imports and exports. The notice informs stakeholders that the Profile Module became operational on 23 September 2026, enabling registered entities and applicants to create or update their profiles using a valid Importer-Exporter Code (IEC). Additionally, the Narcotic Drugs (ND) Import/Export Module will go live on 26 September 2026, and all new applications for ND import and export authorizations must thereafter be submitted through the ICEGATE platform.
