NPPA has ceiling price fixation of 06 scheduled formulations of Schedule-I (NLEM 2022) under Drugs (Prices Control) Order,2013 based on decision of the 138th Authority meeting dated 30.10.2025
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has notified ceiling prices for six scheduled formulations under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. The formulations include Riboflavin Tablets (10 mg), Peritoneal Dialysis Solution, Ethyl Alcohol (Denatured) 70%, and Human Normal Immunoglobulin solutions (5%, 10%, 16.5%). Manufacturers must revise MRPs in line with the ceiling prices, comply with DPCO provisions, and report production and sales via IPDMS.
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), Department of Pharmaceuticals has fixed new ceiling prices for six scheduled formulations under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order (DPCO), 2013.
Key points include:
- Formulations include Riboflavin Tablets (10 mg), Peritoneal Dialysis Solution, Ethyl Alcohol (Denatured) 70%, and Human Normal Immunoglobulin Solutions for Infusion (5%, 10%, and 16.5%).
- The prices specified are exclusive of GST, and all manufacturers selling above the notified ceiling prices must reduce MRPs accordingly.
- Existing manufacturers with lower MRPs must maintain current prices.
- Companies are required to submit Form-V price lists, quarterly Form-III returns, and any discontinuation notice (Form-IV) through IPDMS.
- Non-compliance or overcharging will attract recovery with interest under DPCO, 2013, read with the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
- Previous price orders for these formulations stand superseded.
